Curtis Swan has always been drawn to the coast. That pull started early, living in Cabo San Lucas, and it never let go, even through four landlocked years in the desert of Palm Springs during high school. When the chance came to move to the Central Coast for college, he took it immediately, drawn by the weather, the scenery, and the Santa Barbara lifestyle. He came to attend UC Santa Barbara in 2010 and never left. It's been home for the last 16 years.

Real estate has been in Curtis's life from the start. His father worked as an agent, and Curtis got his first real exposure to the business growing up around it, well before it became his own career.

After earning his Bachelor's Degree, Curtis went on to obtain his Commercial Pilot's License. The discipline of flying has carried directly into his real estate work. In the cockpit, unexpected turbulence or a shifting flight plan calls for running through a checklist calmly, not panicking. Curtis brings that same instinct to the table when a deal hits a snag, whether it's a multiple-offer scramble or a repair negotiation that threatens to fall apart days before closing. Clients get a steady hand precisely when they need one most.

In 2019, Curtis helped a local farming family find the right place for their parents in the Encina Royale community. Watching that family settle their parents into the next chapter of their lives struck a chord, and he began actively seeking listings there. To date, Curtis has completed 27 transactions in Encina Royale alone, and has built deep expertise in helping seniors downsize with care and clarity.

In 2024, Curtis was recognized among the top 100 real estate agents in the area for production, a reflection of his dedication to this market. After 8 years of helping buyers and sellers in Santa Barbara, he has earned over 25 five-star reviews on Renowned.com.
